Task: Started prosealing the left fuel tank.

Today was the big night! We started prosealing the left fuel tank. Instead of getting the quart kit of ProSeal, we got the 6oz cartridges. They work extremely well! It makes much less of a mess. We first cleaned all the parts extremely well with MEK. Then we mixed the ProSeal and squeezed it onto to the rivetlines where the stiffeners were to go. We completely covered the area with ProSeal to ensure it would squeeze out and form a good seal. Next we backriveted the stiffeners on, created a fillet around the edge, and covered each shop head with ProSeal. Lastly, we riveted the drain flange and fuel cap flange to the skin. We were not able to reach 1 of the rivets on the drain flange. I will need to find a 4" yoke for my squeezer to get to it. All the rivets turned out very well and overall the ProSeal wasn't too bad to work with. It does make a mess!
