Task: Prepped the trailing edge of the rudder for ProSeal. ProSealed the AEX wedge and clecod into place.

I made sure the trailing edge was straight before going any further. I match drilled the wedge to a peice of angle stock. It really helps keep things straight.

I removed all the clecos and used foam to spread the trailing edges apart. I purposely left several of the rivets out on the end ribs to facilitate sealing the trailing edge.

I didn't take any pictures of the ProSeal process but it was ugly. It makes a mess. I laid out a big piece of painters plastic, mixed the B1/2 ProSeal and gooped it on. I used a piece of aluminium to spread it evenly and quickly clecod it into place between the two skins. I then clecod the angle stock into place and made sure the trailing edge was still straight. I finished by putting a few rivets in the base and tip end ribs.
