Task: Completed right side of HS

Today I completed the right HS. It went SO much faster than the left side last night. I was very cautious about drilling the two holes through HS-404, HS-702, HS-710/714, and HS-405. A regular drill wouldn't fit between the rib, my Sioux wouldn't fit, and an angle drill wouldn't fit either. It took a lot of marking, measuring, and remarking. I think I spend almost 2 hours drilling 4 holes last night. Today I drilled all four in about 10 minutes after already having the measurements. Detail D-D on DWG 3 is very difficult to make sense of at first. It all made sense once I realized there were no holes shown in the drawing, but rather arrows leading to given rivet sizes.

Here I am match drilling HS-601PP to HS-702.

A partially complete HS!! Now the real works begins. I need to debur, sand, dimple, and countersink all these holes before I can even think about priming.
