Task: Worked on drilling the rudder fairing,
dimpling the skins for the fairings, and shaping the HS skins
for the elevator counterbalance skins.
I drilled #40 and clecod the rudder fairing into place. I
then expanded the holes to #30.
I then fabricated a 0.5" strip of .032 aluminum to use
as a reinforcement plate for the rivets. I used cleco clamps
to hold the strip into position for drilling.
After all the fairings were countersunk and reinforcement
strips were fabricated and deburred, I prepped the area for
expoxy. I realized I didn't have any stiring sticks or mixing
containers so I put the epoxying on hold for the evening.
