Task: Assembled the elevator skeleton, assembled the trim servo reinforcement plate, and backriveted to the skin

I started by dimpling the K1000-6 nutplates and riveted them to the E-616PP reinforcement plate with AN426AD3-3.5 rivets.

I then clecod the trim reinforcement plate to the skin to check for proper fit.

I then riveted the rod end bearing reinforcement plates and plate-nuts to the E-702 spar with AN470AD4-4 rivets.

Good looking shop heads! The blue is from tape on the bucking bar. It came off after an alcohol wipe down.

I then riveted the E-704 counterbalance rib to the E-705 tip rib with AN470AD4-4 rivets

Next was to rivet the E-705 inboard rib to the main front spar with flush rivets to the control horn will fit over top. AN326AD3-3.5 rivets were used.

The E-705/705 assembaly was then riveted to the E-702 spar with AN470AD4-4 rivets.

The control horn was then riveted to the E-702 spar and the E-705 main rib with AN470AD4-4 rivets.

The trim reinforcement plate was then back-riveted to the main skin with AN426AD3-3.5 rivets. Everything fit great!

Lastly I used my filled down soldering iron to melt away the blue protective film in preperation for back-riveting the stiffeners to the ski
